Zombie chefs take over Huddersfield

Local author Jack Strange has just had his first novel published by Kensington Gore Publishing. Entitled Celebrity Chef Zombie Apocalypse, it’s part horror story and part social and political satire, and much of it is set in Huddersfield.

It tells the story of the dead celebrity chef Floyd Rampant, who rises from his grave with ambitions to create a zombie army of chefs to rule the world, using the human species as the main ingredient in their cordon bleu meals. The action begins in Croydon then moves swiftly to London, and reaches its climax in the author’s home town of Huddersfield.

The novel is available in the Kingsgate Waterstones and online in paperback or e-book form.
